Pursuant to Conscription Agency, Ministry of the Interior, the application of general substitute services in 2019 will be held from April 17 to April 30. The draftees(born between 1984-2000) who haven't received enlistment are welcomed to apply for substitute service in this period of time.
Draftees who are qualified for specific substitute service should register their basic personal data, service category and institution at the“general substitute services application process information system”(http://www.nca.gov.tw/sugsys/) at Conscription Agency website.Note that this registration is non-changeable.To apply for substitute services, the relevant documents must be sent by registered mail to the Department of Conscription Agency, Ministry of the Interior (No. 21, Guangming Rd., Nantou City, Nantou County 540, Taiwan (R.O.C.)) before April 30.
Draftees who have the degree of the mainland region of Mainland China and plan to apply for substitute services should follow "The Regulations of The Recognition of Educational Qualifications from Mainland Area" to certify the degree, and mail the copy of the certified degree and application to Conscription Agency by April 30. Applicants with foreign academic certificates should have their academic certificates identified by overseas office and mail to the Conscription Agency.
